Job summary

Cisco is seeking a hands-on leader to build and coach a Federal BDR team in the United States. You will guide reps who generate qualified pipeline for Federal Civilian and DoD/Intel accounts, collaborating with sellers to ensure high-quality handoffs.

The role emphasizes coaching discovery and qualification and building a culture of growth and accountability. You will attract and hire talent, partner with Marketing on campaigns, and drive weekly pipeline visibility to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
• 1+ years of team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs covering Federal Civilian and DoD/Intel.
• Drive the team to source and qualify pipeline from inbound leads and outbound prospecting.
• Shadow rep calls and provide regular feedback on discovery and qualification.
• Partner with Marketing on event campaigns and digital events to convert attendance into conversations.
• Monitor weekly pipeline and CRM data to forecast and adjust team focus.
• Work with account teams and specialists to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Attract, hire, and retain strong talent, building a growth-focused culture.
• Report on team performance to senior leadership and suggest improvements to the BDR process.
