Job summary

Cisco is seeking a hands-on leader to build and coach a Federal BDR team that generates qualified pipeline for Civilian and DoD/Intel accounts. You will personally coach discovery and qualification, manage inbound/outbound sourcing, and partner with Marketing to convert engagement into opportunities.

You will hire and develop top talent, monitor weekly metrics, and ensure high-quality handoffs to sellers, influencing forecast and revenue outcomes across a national US footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 4 years of related experience.
• 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
• 1+ years of team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs covering Federal Civilian and DoD/Intel
• Drive the team to source and qualify pipeline from inbound leads and outbound prospecting
• Shadow rep calls and provide regular, specific feedback on discovery and qualification
• Partner with Marketing on event registration campaigns and digital events, turning attendance and engagement into qualified conversations
• Monitor weekly pipeline and activity metrics, keep forecast and CRM data accurate, and use the insights to adjust team focus
• Work with account teams and specialist sellers to ensure smooth, high-quality handoffs
• Attract, hire, and retain strong talent, and build a team culture that supports growth and accountability
• Report on team performance to senior leadership and recommend improvements to the BDR process
