CorroHealth, Inc. seeks a Facility Outpatient Coding Quality Specialist (Auditor) for a REMOTE role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

You will perform retrospective analyses of medical record documentation to identify coding and billing errors, ensuring alignment with AHIMA, CMS, AMA and CPT guidelines, and you will provide feedback to staff. You will monitor QA metrics, help design processes to improve coder accuracy, participate in training, and ensure compliance with

Formación

• Requires AHIMA or AAPC credential (CPC or CCS preferred).
• 2+ years experience coding/auditing for inpatient/outpatient facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Performs complex retrospective analysis of medical record documentation to identify coding and billing errors.
• Analyzes audit findings to identify root causes of coding errors and prevent recurrence.
• Provides second-level review of diagnosis, procedure and billing codes for compliance and optimal reimbursement.
• Responds to inquiries regarding compliance, inappropriate coding, denials and billable services.
• Provides technical training and feedback on coding compliance and documentation.
• Maintains awareness of AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding and company policies.
