CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Facility Outpatient Coding Quality Specialist (Auditor) to perform complex retrospective coding audits and ensure compliance with coding guidelines.

This remote role requires credentials (CPC/COC, RHIT, RHIA preferred) and EMR systems experience, with a focus on hospital outpatient coding. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and deliver accurate results on time.

Formación

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Must have AHIMA or AAPC credential; RHIA/RHIT may be considered.
• Experience with telecommuting and EMR systems preferred.
• 2+ years, ideally 3+, in inpatient/outpatient coding/auditing.

Responsabilidades

• Performs complex retrospective analysis of medical record documentation to identify coding and billing errors.
• Analyzes audit findings to identify root causes and minimize recurrence.
• Second-level review of diagnosis, procedure and billing codes for compliance.
• Researches inquiries regarding compliance, denials and billable services.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality per AHIMA standards.
