Job summary

CorroHealth Inc is seeking a Facility Outpatient Coding Quality Specialist (Auditor) to join our remote team. You will perform retrospective analyses of medical records, identify coding and billing errors, and ensure compliance with AHIMA/CPT guidelines while supporting ongoing coder education.

Ideal candidates hold AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC/COC/CCS, RHIT or RHIA preferred), live in the United States, and have 2–3 years of inpatient/outpatient coding/auditing experience with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Must be AHIMA or AAPC certified (CPC/COC/CCS or RHIT/RHIA preferred).
• Remote position; must live in the United States.
• Experience with telecommuting and EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform retrospective analysis of medical records to identify coding and billing errors.
• Provide second-level review of diagnosis, procedure and billing codes for compliance.
• Respond to inquiries regarding compliance, denials and billable services.
• Provide technical support and feedback training to internal coding staff.
• Monitor QA percentages and report monthly.
