Job summary

The GBTA Exhibit Operations Specialist role is a remote position focused on end-to-end exhibit fulfillment for worldwide events. You will manage expo databases, floor plans, badges, and service materials, while coordinating with marketing, finance, and external contractors to ensure flawless event delivery.

You’ll guide exhibitors through tools and processes, coordinate housing and registration, and drive revenue with add-ons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years marketing, sales operations, or business development experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRMs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently remotely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to varying event hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Desirable: CEM designation or Salesforce certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exhibits for all events and update expo floor plans and contacts in the expo database.
• Review and approve expo badges and coordinate show mapping system details.
• Collaborate with marketing on exhibitor manuals, prospectus, and materials.
• Maintain floor plans with the show mapping system and liaise with service contractors.
• Coordinate housing, registration, and appointment tools with internal teams.
• Assist exhibitors with theAppointment tool and respond to usage questions.
• Oversee move-in/move-out logistics and event operations with internal and external teams.
• Identify upsell opportunities to increase expo revenue and manage add-on processes.
• Create and distribute invoices from Salesforce and ExpoFP; coordinate collections with Finance & Sales.
