Job summary

Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) is hiring an Exhibit Operations Specialist for a remote role. The position oversees exhibit fulfillment, floor plans, and related materials across global expos, collaborating with sales, marketing, and contracts teams.

Ideal candidates hold a marketing or project background with 2–3 years in marketing, sales operations, or business development, and have experience with Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years marketing, sales operations, or business development experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRMs.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, including strong PowerPoint skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment, while thriving in a fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to work varying hours based on events needs and global time difference accommodations, may include evenings and weekends.
• Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation through the IAEE preferred but not required.
• Salesforce certifications.
• Remote work environment.
• Prolonged periods sitting/remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

• Manage expo deliverables for all events in collaboration with the sales operation fulfillment team.
• Update expo floor plans and exhibitor contacts in the database and on the website.
• Oversee approvals and tracking of expo booth badges and mappings.
• Develop and produce exhibitor service materials and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate on floor plan updates with the service contractor and housing/registration processes.
• Assist exhibitors with the Appointment tool and communication materials.
• Coordinate exhibitor move-in/move-out and expo operations with internal teams and contractors.
• Identify upsell opportunities to drive incremental expo revenue and manage the turnkey booth add-on process.
• Create invoices from Salesforce and ExpoFP and manage distribution and tracking.
• Collaborate with Finance and Sales to collect and audit invoices.
