Job summary

SullivanCotter is seeking a remote Executive Compensation Consultant to deliver comprehensive compensation consulting services for health care and nonprofit clients. You will analyze executive roles, conduct market pricing, and develop compensation programs while engaging with clients and internal teams.

The role requires 1–5 years of consulting experience, strong data analytics, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting, or health care administration
• One to five years of progressive experience directly consulting with clients
• Three to five years of related analytical experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design
• Compensation consulting experience preferred
• Solid Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; basic programming experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to analyze, organize, and interpret data
• Knowledge of laws and regulations that impact health care clients
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to tailor communications and present complex content clearly
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure
• Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, able to work independently and in a team
• Intellectually curious, seeking opportunities to develop new skills

Responsibilities

• Provide executive compensation consulting services and develop, implement, and/or administer executive compensation programs
• Provide subject matter expertise and serve as a market expert regarding client compensation issues
• Conduct executive job evaluations; analyze responsibilities and recommend internal placement
• Conduct market pricing, peer group selection, survey analyses, and financial modeling
• Analyze data to determine appropriate compensation levels and job titles
• Identify complex data issues and advise clients on the appropriate course of action
• Keep the project manager apprised of status and deadlines
• Assist with complex reports and proposal writing
• Serve as a peer reviewer and mentor of technical knowledge
• Participate in client delivery team meetings
• Establish client relationships and be a key contact for inquiries
• Shadow project and client relationship managers at client meetings or teleconferences
