Job summary

SullivanCotter is seeking a talented consultant to join our Executive Workforce Services practice as a compensation specialist. You will provide comprehensive executive compensation consulting, pricing analyses, and governance insights for healthcare and not-for-profit clients, guiding market comparisons and data-driven decisions.

In this role you will evaluate jobs, perform market surveys, and develop tailored compensation programs while collaborating with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting, or health care administration)
• 1–5 years of progressive client consulting experience
• 3–5 years of related analytical experience (data analysis, financial modeling, presentation design)
• Compensation consulting experience preferred
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint; basic programming is a plus
• Knowledge of laws/regulations affecting health care clients
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, verbal and presentation skills
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure
• Self-starter, flexible and able to work independently and in a team
• Intellectually curious and eager to develop new skills

Responsibilities

• Provide executive compensation consulting services and help develop, implement, and administer programs
• Act as a market expert on client compensation issues
• Conduct executive job evaluations and advise on appropriate levels and titles
• Perform market pricing, survey analyses, and financial modeling for projects
• Analyze data to determine compensation levels and titles for executives
• Identify data issues and consult with clients to resolve obstacles
• Keep the project manager informed on status and deadlines
• Assist with report and proposal writing describing objectives and results
• Mentor junior associates and provide technical guidance
• Participate in client delivery meetings to understand initiatives
• Establish client relationships and serve as a point of contact
• Shadow managers at client meetings or teleconferences
