Job summary

Join Cosmo 1:1 as a tutor, teaching K-12 students in a flexible, independent contractor role. You will provide personalized lessons, specifically targeting ESL students from Asia.

With a base rate of $20 USD per class plus incentives, you can set your schedule to teach typically between 5-9 AM EST on weekdays. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and experience in K-12 education.

Ideal candidates are passionate, reliable, and able to adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
