Job summary

Cosmo is seeking passionate educators to join as independent contract tutors for ESL students based in Asia. This role allows you to set your own flexible schedule to teach personalized 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons. Ideal candidates have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of teaching experience in grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.

Responsibilities include providing tailored instruction and maintaining professionalism while communicating with students and parents. The position offers a base rate of $20 USD plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
