Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators to teach ESL students based in Asia through personalized one-on-one lessons. As a tutor, you will manage your own schedule, typically 5-9 AM EST, providing consistent support to K-12 students. The role offers a base rate of $20 USD per session with additional incentives. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience in grades K-12.

Ideal candidates are patient, enthusiastic about education, and able to create a supportive learning environment. We value reliability and a passion for helping students succeed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
