Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia through its online platform. As a tutor, you will provide personalized 1‑on‑1 lessons and guide students in a nurturing environment. Flexibility in scheduling is a key benefit, with classes typically held during the morning hours EST.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree and has experience teaching K-12 students. This independent contractor role offers a base rate of $20 USD plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
