Job summary

Cosmo is looking for passionate tutors to join their team for an independent contractor role focused on teaching ESL students based in Asia. The position involves providing personalized 1-on-1 instruction with a flexible schedule, offering $20 USD per lesson along with incentives.

Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience, particularly in K-12 ELA and ESL. Responsibilities include preparing lesson materials and effectively communicating with students and parents.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
