Job summary

Join Cosmo, the premiere online learning platform, as a tutor for students based in Asia. In this independent contractor role, you will provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction in ELA, ESL, and math classes between 5-9 AM EST. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience.

With a base rate of $20 USD plus bonuses, your responsibilities include lesson preparation, timely communication, and building rapport with students. This position offers flexibility and a supportive teaching environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
