Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors to provide 1:1 ESL instruction to students based in Asia. This role offers flexibility with a base rate of $20 USD plus bonuses. Tutors will create a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring students are prepared and on time for their lessons.

Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree, experience teaching K-12, and a passion for education. Together, we'll help students grow and succeed in their learning journey.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
