Job summary

Cosmo is seeking tutors to provide personalized 1:1 instruction for K-12 ESL students in Asia. This independent contractor role offers a flexible schedule, with classes typically from 5-9 AM EST Monday through Friday. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
