Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators to join Cosmo 1:1 as tutors for ESL students based in Asia. As a tutor, you'll provide personalized 1-on-1 lessons in a welcoming environment while maintaining a flexible schedule. Classes typically take place between 5-9 AM EST Monday through Friday.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of teaching experience. The role offers a competitive base rate of $20 USD plus bonuses, with commitments of at least 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
