Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators to join our team of tutors and teach ESL students based in Asia. As a tutor, you will provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction and create a fun learning environment. The role offers a flexible schedule, where you can set your own hours, primarily between 6-9 AM EST.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience. Additional skills such as patience, adaptability, and passion for education are essential for success in this role.

The base rate is $20 USD per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
