Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to support leaders with disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, involuntary termination reviews, and related investigations. The ERBP collaborates with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other internal teams to deliver consistent, equitable guidance aligned with company values.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field with 2+ years HR/Employee Relations experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience supporting leaders with disciplinary actions, performance issues, and terminations.
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws; union avoidance.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Advise leaders on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
Assist with involuntary termination reviews and related investigations.
Collaborate with ER, HRBPs, Legal, and other teams to ensure compliant practices.
Interpret policies and educate employees to ensure consistent application.
Own assigned ER cases in the case management system and Ethics Hotline.
