Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) to support leaders across employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and involuntary termination reviews. You will partner with HR, Legal, and other teams to deliver consistent, values-aligned guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a HR-related bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, with strong investigative, communication, and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business with 2 years HR or Employee Relations experience
• Proficient with MS Office and case management tools
• Experience supporting leaders with disciplinary actions and performance plans
• Knowledge of state/federal employment laws and union avoidance
• Strong communication across all levels
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work remotely

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on employee relations with strong investigative skills
• Review disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations using Workday/ServiceNow
• Partner with ER team, HR BPs, Legal and others to align with company values
• Interpret policies, ensure compliant and consistent application, educate stakeholders
• Own assigned ER cases and document in case management tools
• Analyze ER trends and identify opportunities for improvement
• Promote positive employee relations environment and timely issue resolution
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges
• Serve as backup for ER intake role
• Conduct less complex ER investigations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
