Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to support leaders with disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and termination reviews. This role emphasizes partnership with Legal and HR to ensure compliant, equitable outcomes.

The ERBP will handle multiple cases, leverage Workday and ServiceNow, and travel up to 25% while working primarily remote within Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business with 2 years' related experience (or a master's with up to 2 years, or 6 years in related field).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Direct experience supporting leaders with disciplinary actions, conduct/behavior issues, PIP, and involuntary terminations.

Responsibilities

• Advise and guide leaders on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and termination reviews.
• Review actions using Workday and ServiceNow and provide recommendations.
• Partner with ER team, HR Business Partners, Legal and others to align with company values.
• Interpret policies and educate employees to ensure consistent application.
• Own assigned ER cases and document handling per ER processes.
• Analyze ER trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a positive ER environment and timely issue resolution.
• Assist with data gathering related to legal complaints and investigations.
• Serve as a backup for ER intake and conduct less complex investigations.
