Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced IT/Clinical business analyst to map, analyze and optimize Epic workflows across the Imaging Services domain. This full-time, dayshift role in a fully remote capacity requires Epic certification within 6 months and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

You will translate user requirements into functional specs, perform testing, and train users while coordinating upgrades and communicating project status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required or knowledge equivalent.
• Experience mapping and analyzing business processes in IT/clinical settings.
• Strong communication, documentation and testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map clinical/business Epic workflows and improve processes.
• Create requirements docs, data flows, models, and discuss solutions with users.
• Translate requirements into system specs and prioritize business needs.
• Configure Epic-related systems to meet requirements and test thoroughly.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; manage end-user acceptance testing.
• Provide training materials and sessions for project stakeholders.
• Monitor system functionality and performance; implement changes as needed.
• Explain application functionality to users and support full process flows.
• Maintain product documentation and change control per standards.
• Communicate status and upgrades; manage multiple requests and upgrades.
