Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a qualified IT/Clinical Business Analyst to map, analyze, and improve Epic-based workflows. The role supports clinical and business processes, translating user needs into system specifications, and conducting comprehensive testing.

You will work with health care application users and vendors, ensuring change control and proper documentation while balancing multiple requests. Remote role with on-call duties and standard dayshift expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping and analysis.
• Experience with Epic and healthcare applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and models.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications and review with users.
• Prioritize requirements and assess tech impact.
• Configure systems to meet business needs.
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts; conduct testing.
• Provide training materials and train end-users as appropriate.
• Communicate project status and upgrades to users.
