Job summary

Great American Employer Health Solutions, a division of Great American Insurance Group, is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative. This developmental role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting and broker relationships while building a long-term career in insurance sales.

The position allows fully remote work with applicants located anywhere in the continental United States and requires a bachelor’s degree plus strong communication and relationship-building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Employer Health Solutions business and develop consultative sales skills.
• Review and process Requests for Proposal (RFPs), analyze opportunities, and communicate underwriting considerations.
• Support the sales team with prospect outreach, meetings, follow-up activities, and account management tasks.
• Participate in meetings with brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to gain exposure to the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training and hands-on experience.
• Develop an understanding of underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and trainings to expand knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with CRM updates and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal partners to support new business opportunities.
• Progress through a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
