Job summary

Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative to join a growing team. This remote role within the continental United States offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting and broker relationships as you build a long-term career in insurance sales.

You’ll develop consultative skills, support brokers, manage requests for proposals, and participate in client meetings while learning about Level Funded health plans and medical stop loss.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, finance, risk management, communications, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Employer Health Solutions business and develop consultative sales skills.
• Review and process RFPs, analyze opportunities, and communicate underwriting considerations.
• Support sales with prospect outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up, and account management.
• Participate in meetings with brokers, agencies, owners, and prospective clients.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training.
• Understand underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences and broker events to expand knowledge.
• Maintain activity records and assist with CRM updates and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal partners to support new opportunities.
• Progress through training for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
