Job summary

Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role offers a developmental path with hands-on training and mentorship, exposure to underwriting and broker relationships, and the chance to build a long-term career in insurance sales.

The candidate can work fully remote within the continental United States. You will learn consultative sales, review RFPs, and support the sales team as you progress toward a full Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales reps to learn the Employer Health Solutions business.
• Review and process Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and analyze opportunities.
• Support the sales team with prospect and broker outreach and account tasks.
• Attend meetings with brokers, agencies, business owners, and clients to learn the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training.
• Understand underwriting guidelines, healthcare products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences and broker events to expand knowledge.
• Maintain activity records and assist with CRM and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal partners to support new business.
• Progress through training to advance into full Sales Representative role.
