Job summary

Handshake is seeking a Support Specialist, Contractor to provide email, phone, and video support for employers, students, and career services users. This is a 6-month contract with potential extension or conversion to a permanent role based on fit.

You will work with Handshake’s Support Team to diagnose and resolve technical issues, build relationships with customers, and improve the user experience across Handshake platforms used by Google, Amazon, Cornell University and others.

Qualifications

• Location: based in the United States.
• Strong ability to learn technical tools quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 40 hours per week during business hours, answering email and phone inquiries.
• Resolve questions, bugs, and workflow needs with tailored responses.
• Collaborate with Support, Success, Product, and Engineering teams to unblock users.
• Maintain high standards for response and resolution times across queues.
