Samsara is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the pre-sales team, enabling the market of our Connected Operations Cloud across North America. You will work with Enterprise Account Executives and Regional Directors to qualify opportunities, design solutions, and present a compelling technical path to customers.

The role requires strong technical sales acumen, hands-on experience with APIs, cloud software, and hardware integration, and a willingness to travel up to 50% in the US, with a preference

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• 8+ years of customer-facing pre-sales experience; 3+ years in enterprise sales.
• Deep understanding of APIs, security, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, automation, networking, and control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Be a core member of Samsara’s pre-sales team in North America’s largest fleets and organizations with physical operations.
• Partner with sales leadership to plan and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
• Match customer pain points to proposed solutions and establish customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Deploy and install hardware and provide SaaS dashboards and API integrations.
• Mentor other SEs and contribute to team knowledge and customer success.
