Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to drive the full lifecycle of customer deployments for our SaaS platform in the Utilities & Energy sector.

Remote with travel up to 50% in the United States, you will own requirements, design configuration, manage timelines, and partner with Technical Consultants to deliver on-time, high-quality implementations that maximize customer value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading implementation consulting or SaaS deployment projects.
• Experience guiding enterprise software implementations with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable configuration.
• Strong project management: timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience with utility, energy, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Ability to ensure customer adoption and value realization.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional implementation workstreams from kickoff to go-live.
• Manage timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder coordination.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and capture business processes.
• Define configuration plans for forms, libraries, templates, and permissions.
• Coordinate with technical teams on integrations and data migration.
• Lead status meetings and steering committees with customers.
• Document decisions and artifacts for repeatable delivery.
• Provide guidance to maximize value from the platform.
• Support training, adoption, and change management activities.
• Assist go-live readiness and knowledge transfer to support.
