Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to lead the functional and project management activities for deploying our SaaS platform to enterprise utility customers.

You will own implementation workstreams, coordinate with technical teams, and drive on-time deployments aligning with customer processes. The role requires strong business process design, stakeholder management, and the ability to enable customers to realize value from the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in implementation consulting or SaaS deployment roles.
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into configuration and process solutions.
• Strong project management, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional implementation workstream from kickoff to go-live with accountability for delivery quality and outcomes.
• Own timelines, milestones, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops to capture customer processes and success criteria.
• Translate requirements into scalable configuration plans with templates, workflows, and permissions.
• Collaborate with Technical/Solution Consultants to align functional and technical activities.
• Lead status meetings, steering committees, and cross-functional alignment sessions.
• Maintain project documentation and artefacts for repeatable delivery.
• Identify optimization opportunities and share best practices.
