Pitch Aeronautics Inc. is seeking a remote Business Development professional in the United States to drive new utility sector opportunities, manage pilots to production, and expand partnerships with channel partners.

The role requires deep utility industry knowledge and a proactive, cross-functional approach to sales and program leadership. Responsibilities span end-to-end deal cycles, from prospecting to MSAs/SOWs, with travel flexibility and close coordination with engineering and operations

Qualifications

• Based in the U.S.
• 5-10+ years enterprise sales or BD selling to electric utilities (IOU/muni/co-op)
• Proven success moving from pilot to production and securing MSAs and multi-year rollouts.
• Comfortable leading multi-stakeholder cycles (T&D Ops, Planning, Standards, Procurement, IT/Security)
• Fluent with RFP/RFI processes, contracting, and risk/compliance discussions.
• Strong technical acumen; you can explain sensors, analytics, and DLR/wildfire risk concepts to both engineers and executives.
• Strong communication with quality writing and presence.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle new business: prospecting, discovery, business case, pilots/POCs, MSAs/SOWs, and close.
• Convert pilots to production: structure success criteria, quantify value (capacity gains, risk reduction), and drive executive buy-in.
• Navigate utility procurement: RFPs/RFIs, sole-source justifications, standards committees, InfoSec, legal/insurance.
• Build and focus our sales playbook: ICP refinement, messaging, qualification, pricing/packaging feedback.
• Coordinate internally: translate needs to Engineering and Ops; forecast accurately in CRM; contribute to product roadmap signals.
• Leverage channels: develop and manage partners (OEMs, EPCs, integrators, reps) to extend reach.
• Represent Pitch at conferences and customer onsite demos.
