Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Vertica product sales in the United States, including remote work. You will own revenue growth within assigned accounts, lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
• Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in enterprise environments.
• Experience selling into large enterprises / Global 1000 with revenue accountability.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data warehousing, and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver revenue targets for an assigned territory or strategic accounts.
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive pipeline and growth.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from shaping to close.
• Build relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders to position Vertica as a strategic data solution.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers on technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
• Drive competitive strategies against Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Teradata.
• Lead cross-functional deal teams with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
• Develop partner and channel relationships (GSIs, VARs) to accelerate pipeline.
