UW is seeking a tech-forward engineering lead to co-drive a squad in a remote-first, cross-functional environment. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Data to align on goals, OKRs, and delivery that meet security and reliability targets.

The role emphasizes technical design, coaching, and strategic influence across stakeholders. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive outcomes that reflect UW’s product and engineering strategy while maintaining a strong focus on velocity

Responsabilités

• Make technical decisions for the squad aligned with engineering strategy.
• Define and prioritize team goals; drive OKRs and KPIs.
• Ensure security and SLOs; coordinate on-call coverage and incident reviews.
• Plan with Product Manager to set objectives and review risks early.
• Coach and onboard engineers; support career growth and performance reviews.
• Build domain knowledge of the squad's area and communicate strategy.
