Job summary

Reserv is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team, shaping technical strategy and delivering scalable, reliable software solutions.

You will mentor engineers, optimize processes, and champion quality, security, and customer focus while operating in a remote-first, distributed environment.

You will collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to align technical direction with company goals and drive cross-team execution.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Professional engineer experience in at least one core language/framework with ability to discuss technical topics at a high level.
• Strong familiarity with system design, software architecture, and devops practices; deep expertise in at least one devops lifecycle area.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and ability to uphold security standards across the engineering org.
• Experience managing engineering performance, quality, and process across multiple teams or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams through complex technical decisions, architectural tradeoffs, and long-term planning.
• Mentor engineers across experience levels while driving clarity, focus, and execution within and across teams.
• Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to connect technical direction to company goals.
• Advocate for quality assurance through well-defined testing frameworks and code review practices.
