Job summary

NEEP, a Massachusetts-based remote-first nonprofit, seeks a Manager to lead research, tool development, and stakeholder engagement that accelerates energy efficiency and electrification across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. You will manage projects, oversee budgets, and coordinate external consultants with diverse stakeholders, advancing markets for high-efficiency building and industrial technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively senior experience in project management, energy efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in building energy efficiency and decarbonization topics is a plus.
• Strong budget management and financial tracking experience.
• Ability to analyze relevant industry data.
• Ability to communicate program area strategy and activities.
• Ability to collaborate internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and tool development and manage projects.
• Coordinate external consultants and track budgets.
• Convene advisory groups and working groups to inform work products.
• Drive technology market transformation for buildings and industry.
• Collaborate with state energy offices, utilities, and other stakeholders.
