Job summary

Energy Sciences is seeking a knowledgeable energy engineer to help commercial and industrial customers reduce energy use. You will identify opportunities, perform analyses, and develop projects across assessment and decarbonization activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, travel up to 25%, and reporting to clients with technical depth in energy optimization and program participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required or five years of energy assessments experience as an alternative.
• CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP and PE certifications preferred.
• Two years of additional experience with utility energy efficiency programs or retro-commissioning projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to prepare reports and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities for commercial/industrial clients.
• Perform energy and economic analyses and review assessments and calculations.
• Develop projects and assist customers with technical questions.
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations to clients.
