NEEP is based in Massachusetts, with staff in locations around the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. We are a remote-first organization, which allows our employees to work in any of NEEP's 13 states/jurisdictions in the region. The Manager is responsible for managing projects for research, tools, and stakeholder engagement that transform regional markets toward high efficiency building and industrial technologies and practices. In this role, you will work with a wide array of NEEP stakeholders, including state energy offices, utilities, energy efficiency program administrators, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, consultants, and nonprofit organizations across the region to facilitate technology market transformation for buildings and industry. The Manager will lead research and tool development, manage projects, oversee external consultants, and track budgets. To inform these work products, the Manager will convene stakeholders through advisory groups and working groups. Priority technology areas currently include cold-climate heat pumps for space heating and cooling, high-efficiency water heating, building envelope measures, and more.
Salary Range: The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, offering a range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
Applicants must reside in one of NEEP's 13 states/jurisdictions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region (Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia).
The position is exempt and scheduled 40 hours per week.
