Job summary

Willdan Energy Company, part of Willdan Group, seeks an Account Manager to drive participation in commercial energy programs and manage relationships with utility clients and stakeholders. The role is remote with up to 50% travel within MA/NH and may include commission in addition to base salary.

Responsibilities include supporting project sales, onboarding contractors, and providing regional sales support for mid-sized customers while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business, Energy Efficiency, Engineering, Sustainability, Communications or related fields.
• High School Diploma with 5+ years in energy efficiency, building sciences, HVAC, or account management.
• Knowledge of local laws and energy conservation codes preferred.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency policies and TRMs preferred.
• Experience with energy efficiency programs and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support participation in Commercial Energy Programs.
• Provide sales support for large projects with stakeholders.
• Onboard contractors and expand the contractor network in the territory.
• Develop and close sales with small and mid-sized business customers.
• Manage relationships with utility clients, architects, engineers and contractors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
