Equiliem is seeking an Employment Practices Specialist to support the employee relations function remotely within the United States. The role focuses on reviewing corrective actions, answering policy questions, and coaching managers to ensure consistent employment practices.

The ideal candidate has direct employee relations exposure, strong communication skills, and can handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of direct employee relations experience, including exposure to corrective actions and disciplinary processes.
• Experience providing guidance or coaching to managers on employee-related matters.
• Strong understanding of employment practices, workplace policies, and employee relations principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Review corrective actions and disciplinary documentation for accuracy and policy alignment.
• Respond to routine associate and manager questions regarding workplace policies and procedures.
• Support employee relations investigations and assist with conflict resolution between associates and management.
• Provide entry-level coaching and guidance to managers on performance concerns and disciplinary matters.
• Assist with associate counseling and recommend next steps for workplace concerns.
• Support training and development activities related to communication, conflict resolution, and associate relations.
• Maintain confidential records of employee relations matters, investigations, and resolutions.
• Prepare reports and review trends to identify recurring concerns and opportunities for improvement.
