TECHEAD has an immediate opening for an Employment Practices Specialist. The role is a remote, contract position (3 months) based in the US, with Newport News, VA as the posting location. Compensation offered is $38–$40 per hour.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch. Key duties include mediating conflicts, counseling managers on employee relations, handling administrative tasks, delivering trainings on communication and diversity, and ensuring legal compliance and risk

Qualifications

• 13 years of focused Employee Relations experience including corrective actions and disciplinary actions.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Experience with HRIS systems (ServiceNow/Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and conduct thorough investigations into complaints.
• Provide guidance to managers on addressing workplace issues and discipline with fairness and consistency.
• Review corrective actions and handle policy-related questions; perform entry-level employee relations tasks.
