Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to advise leaders on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and involuntary termination reviews, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes aligned with company values.

You will partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and the ER team to analyze trends, manage cases in our systems, and provide actionable recommendations. Remote-first with up to 25% travel; primarily within Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field with 2 years’ HR/Employee Relations experience; or equivalent mix.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and termination reviews with objectivity.
• Partner with HRBPs, Legal, and ER team to deliver compliant recommendations.
• Interpret policies and educate stakeholders to ensure consistent application.
• Own assigned ER cases and document in case management systems.
• Analyze ER trends to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges.
• Serve as backup for ER intake as needed.
