Cox Automotive seeks an Employee Relations Business Partner to advise leaders on disciplinary actions, performance plans, and termination reviews while handling investigations. You will collaborate with HR partners, Legal, and ER teams to ensure consistent, fair decisions that reflect company values.

The role requires strong coaching, data interpretation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, or related field with 2 years' HR/ER experience, or equivalent mix.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data interpretation.
• Experience supporting leaders with disciplinary actions, performance plans, and terminations.
• Knowledge of state/federal employment laws and union avoidance.
• Strong communication across all employee levels; ability to coach and influence.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and termination reviews.
• Review cases using Workday and ServiceNow; support investigations and requests.
• Collaborate with ER team, HRBPs, Legal, and other stakeholders to align with company values.
• Interpret policies for consistent application and educate stakeholders.
• Own and document cases in the case management system or Ethics Hotline.
• Analyze ER trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Travel up to 25% and remote work as needed.
