Job summary

Cox Automotive is looking for an Employee Relations Business Partner to guide leaders through disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and involuntary terminations, ensuring fair and consistent handling across the organization.

The ERBP collaborates with HR, Legal, and ER teams to deliver compliant recommendations, using Workday and ServiceNow, in a remote-capable role with periodic travel to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience supporting leaders with disciplinary actions and performance issues.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and union avoidance.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on disciplinary actions, performance plans, and terminations.
• Review actions in Workday and ServiceNow and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with ER, HRBP, Legal and other teams to align with company values.
• Educate stakeholders on policies and processes to ensure consistency.
• Manage assigned ER cases and document in the case management system.
• Analyze ER trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Support open, positive ER environment with timely issue resolution.
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges.
• Serve as backup for ER intake and conduct less complex investigations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
