Job summary

Ignition Benefits, a Santa Monica-based, YC-backed benefits broker, is seeking a remote-based salesperson to win and grow employer clients for 25–250 employee companies. You will own the full cycle from discovery to broker of record, leveraging underwriting data and referrals to close deals.

You bring 3+ years in employee benefits, a live Life and Health license (or within 60 days) and a current book of business or a solid plan. Experience with Salesforce is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years producing in employee benefits.
• Existing book of business or clear plan for clients.
• Life and Health license in good standing (or the ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Strong discovery questioning and client needs analysis.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery with CFOs, CEOs and HR leaders at 25–250 employee companies.
• Demonstrate renewal improvements using underwriting data and secure broker of record decisions.
• Manage SDR-led meetings, referrals and your network.
• Bring your existing book to Ignition where clients follow you.
• Keep opportunities current in Salesforce to maintain forecast accuracy.
• Partner with Account Management to hand off cleanly and stay engaged through first renewal.
• Provide product and marketing feedback from the field.
