Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Manager to lead a team of mobile fleet technicians and drive market growth. You will coach direct reports, manage safety and performance, and collaborate with dispatch, parts, and billing to maximize service delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration, with flexible remote options for residents in the designated city/region. Travel of about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience; alternative combinations possible (e.g., master’s degree with 4 years).
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a people leadership role.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain DQF; must be 21+ due to interstate operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide direction to a team of mobile fleet technicians, providing hands-on leadership to drive performance and development.
• Hold regular coaching and mentoring sessions with direct reports to solve issues and foster career growth.
• Drive market growth by improving productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue while expanding service opportunities.
• Monitor metrics, reports, and safety records to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with standards.
• Lead onboarding of technicians and ensure resource readiness for market expansion.
• Collaborate across dispatch, parts, and billing to align operations with growth strategy.
