Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Technician Leader to join our Management Team to support future growth. You will lead a team of mobile fleet technicians, coach and mentor direct reports, and drive performance in a growing market.

The role involves coaching, mentoring, and coordinating with dispatch, parts, and billing to align operations with growth strategy, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across all sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; alternative combinations (e.g., Master’s + 4 years, PhD + 1 year) may apply.
• Minimum three years in a people leadership role with a record of developing teams and driving performance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File; 3-year MVR review.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate operating authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of mobile fleet technicians; provide mentorship and problem solving.
• Build a high-performance culture through ongoing coaching and career development.
• Own market-level performance: productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth; pursue new service opportunities.
• Monitor metrics and records to drive continuous improvement and scalable operations.
• Act as market leader to expand customer relationships and improve service penetration.
• Travel frequently to technician and customer locations to strengthen relationships and uncover growth.
