Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Leader to join the Management Team, guiding a growing team of mobile fleet technicians and collaborating across dispatch, parts, and billing. You will drive performance, safety, and customer satisfaction while expanding service in an evolving market.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to operational excellence and partner relations. Travel within the market is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a people leadership role.
• Safe drivers needed with 3 YR MVR review; valid state driver’s license.
• Due to interstate operating authority, candidates must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts in a fast-paced market environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide direction to a team of mobile fleet technicians; coach and mentor direct reports.
• Establish a high-performance team culture through ongoing development conversations.
• Oversee market-level performance: productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
• Monitor metrics, reports, and safety records to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead onboarding for new technicians and support market expansion.
• Collaborate with dispatch, parts, and billing to align operations with growth strategy.
• Lead safety audits and ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and environmental standards.
• Recruit, interview, and hire technicians to build a capable team.
