Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections and field maintenance on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. The role involves diagnosing complex mechanical issues, working from a company service truck, and coordinating with customers on service needs.

You will operate in a mobile/field environment, maintain safety and accuracy, and document work using the TRAIT app. A $3000 new hire bonus is offered, with phased payout after 30 and 180 days.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile/field units.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, fuel, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Document work performed and parts used in the TRAIT app.
