Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a mobile fleet nationwide. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, road-test Vehicles, and document work with our TRAIT app.

The role offers an on-call, field-based schedule with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. A $5,000 new-hire bonus applies.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Experience with light/medium/heavy-duty truck diagnostics.
• Ability to operate hand tools and Diesel equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling systems and engines.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and functionality.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain service truck and tools.
